BGANZ Victoria Network Meeting
16th November 2016
We are pleased to announce that our second network meeting for 2016 will be held at Rippon Lea Estate on the 16th Nov 2016.
The program for the day includes a range of speakers covering interesting and diverse topics, an extended "around the traps" session and of course a rare opportunity to be guided through the Rippon Lea Estate Garden with National Trust horticulture staff.
Ripponlea was established in 1868 by Sir Frederick Sargood. The existing 5.5 hectare gardens is one of the best surviving examples of a grand suburban estate garden and retains many original features such as an oak avenue, grotto, rustic garden buildings, expansive fernery, conservatory and ornamental lake.
The "around the traps" session is an opportunity to both inform the network of your successes, challenges and garden updates and to keep abreast of what's happening elsewhere in our magnificent network of botanic and public gardens. We would love to hear from you - If you're interested in providing a short report let us know by checking the tick box in the registration form.
Looking forward to catching up at Rippon Lea in November!
